Rouvenat was founded in Paris in 1852 by Léon Rouvenat, a visionary jeweler of the Second Empire, admired by Empress Eugénie and decorated at Universal Expositions for his medals and jewelry innovations. Relaunched in November 2022 by Marie Berthelon, the house has drawn on the discovery of over 3,000 archival gouaches to reinvent its historic style. Today, the brand embodies circular jewelry: using only recycled gold andSilver , antique stones from deadstocks or private collections, and upcycled cases created by committed artisans. Each piece of jewelry is designed according to the company's DNA: "the jewel adapts to the stone, not the other way around", with particular attention paid to the natural shape of the stones. As a "société à mission", the company places eco-design and ethics at the heart of its statutes, valuing human and natural resources throughout the creative chain.
