Ara Vartanian

Ara Vartanian was founded in 2002 in São Paulo by the Brazilian of Armenian origin, Ara Vartanian. Born into a family of jewelers, the designer draws his inspiration from history, ancestral traditions and the mystical forces of stones. His pieces are distinguished by their sculptural audacity and unconventional design, incorporating precious stones often mounted in original ways. He favors noble materials such as 18-carat gold, rough diamonds, Paraiba tourmalines and Colombian emeralds, which he selects with rare rigor. His artisanal, experimental approach gives rise to powerful, almost talismanic jewels, charged with intention and energy.
