Genevieve Lau was founded in 2012 in Westport by Jennifer Lau. The designer promotes an accessible, contemporary elegance, shaped by her travels and passion for design. Her world is built around the idea of "purpose-driven elegance": jewelry that's as beautiful to wear as it is committed. Made locally between Westport and New York, her pieces are created in 14-carat gold and set with precious stones. The collections are designed to be worn every day, offering more than just a piece of jewelry: a message, a sense of support and strength, especially for women affected by cancer. The "Loved" model is based on a system of solidarity: for every piece of jewelry sold, an identical model is offered to a woman undergoing treatment. To date, over 800 gifts have been donated via Pink Aid, Breast Cancer Alliance, St. Baldrick's Foundation and others.
